Maintenance Report: Kevin is wondering if he can order more garbage bags at a time as the company is very hard to get ahold of. The heater for the infloor heat is in need of a part, they should be coming in to replace the needed part by Tuesday. We are having trouble again with people not putting their trash in the Town of Stanton bags, most of the time they are not Stanton residents. We could try sending letters with an associated fee. Talked about putting up a camera.
Chairman Report: Received a call from building inspector about the resident who needed the building permit. He has given his okay on an occupancy report.
Supervisors Report: None
Clerk-Treasurer Report: Election is set and ready to go for Tuesday. Advanced Disposal has been in contact with me about a check they claimed to never have received. I checked with our bank and the check in question has cleared and was paid on the 20th of November. I sent them a copy of the cleared check from the bank.
Plan Commission: Plan Commission sent out an ordinance review recommendation to the board. The board will review these recommendations.
Question was asked about the zoning permits. Val gets an email with the notification of the zoning permit, she will then forward that onto Joe Atwood (building inspector)
The Plan Commission will get a hold of our attorney Terry Dunst to see if he can attend the March Plan Commission meeting just to go over the ordinances and make sure there will be no legal issues. The Plan Commission will get back to the board.
Fire/Ambulance: They will be voting on the land purchase at their next months meeting. New fire officers are all in place and sworn in.
New Business: Zoning question from Fred and Amanda Parsons. They are looking at building a cabin (guest house) with water and sewer, he’ll need to have his land rezoned as two houses cannot be on the same parcel. If he gets his land rezoned to light commercial instead of General AG, he could possibly get his application approved. He currently owns 7 acres. The Parsons and their attorney are just making sure the township is ok with this before they proceed with the county. Motion by R. Monn, 2nd by B. Anderson to approve the Parsons to proceed with this request through the county, as the township has no problem with the rezone. Approved.
Public Comment: None
Motion to adjourn meeting was made by R. Monn, 2nd by B. Anderson. Approved
Meeting adjourned at 7:45pm
