Board Meeting minutes of September 16, 2018
Chairman Monn called the meeting to order at 7pm at the Stanton Town Shop, Knapp, WI.
Present: Chairman Monn, Supervisors Bob Anderson and Steve Neilsen, Maintenance Kevin Finder, Clerk-Treasurer Val Windsor and townspeople Karl Hackbarth
Motion to approve August minutes as mailed was made by B. Anderson, 2nd by S. Nielsen. Approved.
Correction to August minutes about the burning permits. The resident is to call the Dispatch, not the
Treasurer’s Report: Balance on hand, September 1, 2018 $26,070.53
September Receipts $70,018.82

Book balance as of September 30, 2018 $12,300.00
Motion to approve Treasurer’s Report as mailed was made by R. Monn, 2nd by B. Anderson. Approved.
Motion to approve Vouchers and Checks was made by R. Monn, 2nd by B. Anderson. Approved.
Val is going to try calling a website company that is endorsed by the Town’s Association to see what they charge and cancel our current service, Motion was made by R. Monn, 2nd by S. Neilsen to give Val the go ahead to find out what I can on the website service and make the decision. Approved.
Maintenance Report: Fahrner was here to finish the townshop lot, so Val will pay that bill. Finished a culvert on Lindstrom road, we will keep the culvert files/bills and file the bridge Petition next year, which will pay 80%. Kevin has another week with the boom brush mower tractor, then it goes to another township. 210th Street is now complete. Roll off will be as soon as they can get dumpsters here, it’ll be in October.
Kevin has found different health insurance that is much cheaper.
Chairman Report: Met with resident about getting black dirt, this resident was told if he got it by a certain date he could have it. He didn’t get it out in the allotted time, so Davis Bro’s got it out.
Dunn County Historical Society is working on the cemetery questions we’ve had in the last couple meetings. They will be giving Rich a call back when they have more info.
Supervisor Reports: None
Clerk-Treasurer Report: Just a reminder that Budget Hearing will be in November, I will have the draft available at October meeting.
Public Comment: None
Committee Reports: Plan Commission has made a binder of all the historical ordinances along with a book of all the current Stanton ordinances on file.
October meeting will be when they appoint the Plan Commission members.
Fire/Ambulance: Bob and Rich went to the meeting. Town of Sherman is thinking about joining the Rural Menomonie Fire District.
New Business: Motion was made we continue with Prochnow Assessing for the 2018-2019 year for $4000.00 by R. Monn, 2nd by B. Anderson. Approved.
