The theater is a non-profit organization that strives to enrich the lives of Chippewa Valley residents through the cultural arts. They offer a full performing arts season, year-round rotating art exhibits, outreach programs to children, and an all-around fascinating cultural experience.


Colfax Railroad Museum

The museum currently has a growing collection of railroad equipment from railroads that serviced the western Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota region. The museum is housed in Colfax's third railroad depot. Built from sandstone quarried nearby, this building was constructed between 1914 and 1915 on the foundation of the second depot.

The collection includes Soo Line caboose number 273, Barney and Smith heavyweight coach number 991, and Soo Line GP30 number 703, and other cars. The depot houses a large collection of lanterns, railroad china, and the nation's largest railroad paper-weight collection. The primary purpose of these artifacts is to show what people encountered on day-to-day activities with the railroads and how the technology changed throughout time.

The trail shadows the steep walls of the Red Cedar Valley for 14.5 miles from Menomonie to its connection with the Chippewa River State Trail. Along its route, the Red Cedar trail passes through the communities of Irvington and Downsville and the Dunnville State Wildlife Area.

The trail provides many outdoor recreational opportunities including:

The Heritage Museum interprets the history of Dunn County through its extensive collection of artifacts and new exhibit areas. Located in Menomonie's Wakanda Park near the Wakanda Elementary School, the Lions Club Game Park, and the water park, the facility features a gift shop and exhibits.
